Hyundai Xter:
The second place in this list is the Hyundai model. Hyundai offers six airbags as standard across all variants of the company’s Xtreme SUV model. Ex-showroom prices start at Rs 6.13 lakh. Notably, there is also a CNG variant on the exterior.
Maruti Suzuki Swift:
Maruti has launched the new fourth generation Swift model just a few days ago. Maruti offers six airbags as standard across all variants of this model. Also, this is the cheapest Maruti model with six airbags. Apart from six airbags, the new Swift also features features including ABS with EBD and ESC. The new Swift will be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 6.49 lakh.
Hyundai i20:
The i20 is the third Hyundai model and the third hatchback to feature in this list. Hyundai offers six airbags as standard across all variants of its premium hatchback model. The i20 hatchback is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.04 lakh.
Hyundai Aura:
The Aura is the first sedan to feature on this list. Also, this is the fourth Hyundai model to feature in this list. Like its other models, Hyundai is offering six airbags as standard on all variants of the Aura. Also, it is reported that the same 1.2-litre petrol engine has been used in all models such as the Xter, i20, Grand i10 Nias and this Aura mentioned above.
Mahindra XUV 3XO:
Mahindra launched this updated SUV model in the Indian automobile market a few weeks ago. It will be sold starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs.7.49 lakh. Mahindra has also provided Level 2 ADAS facilities for safety with six airbags in this model.
Hyundai Venue:
The Venue is the fifth Hyundai model on this list and the second Hyundai SUV model. Like other models, Hyundai offers six airbags as standard across all variants. The model is available in India starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.94 lakh.
Kia Sonet:
Among the four models it sells in India, Kia has given six airbags as standard across all variants of the cheapest Sonet model. This SUV is being sold starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs.7.99 lakh. Apart from six airbags, Kia has provided various safety features like ESC, VSM, Hill Hold Assist, Emergency Stop Signal and TPMS.
Tata Nexon:
The Nexon is another compact SUV model with six airbags as standard. Tata is selling this Nexon model in about 96 variants in India. Six airbags are offered as standard across all variants. The Tata Nexon compact SUV is being sold in India starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs.8.15 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Belino:
Maruti Suzuki has given two airbags as standard in their premium hatchback model, Belino. The Zetta and above variants are offered with six airbags. This premium hatchback model is being sold in India starting at a price of Rs.8.40 lakh.
