Maruti Suzuki Brezza:
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza SUV has taken the fifth spot, leaving the fourth spot to Tata. With sales of 1,69,897 cars, the Brezza recorded a sales growth of 42% over the previous fiscal. Also, the Brezza crossed the one million sales milestone last December. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza SUV is being sold in India at ex-showroom prices ranging from Rs 8.33 lakh to Rs 14.13 lakh.
Tata Bunch:
The Punch compact SUV is Tata’s second best selling model. The Tata Bunch saw a 27% increase in sales in the previous financial year with sales of 1,69,844 cars. Along with the petrol engine model, the introduction of CNG and electric punch cars is expected to boost its sales. The Tata Bunch is sold in India at ex-showroom prices ranging from Rs 6.12 lakh to Rs 10.19 lakh.
Hyundai Creta:
With sales of 1,62,773 units in the last financial year, the Hyundai Creta has been named as the best-selling mid-size SUV in India. The Creta contributed 26% of Hyundai’s Indian sales, registering a growth of 8% compared to the previous fiscal.
Last February, the Creta also reached the one million sales milestone. The Creta SUV is being sold in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20.14 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga:
Being the number one seller of hatchbacks and SUVs, Maruti has not left out MPVs too. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga holds the title of the best selling MPV in India with sales of 1,49,757 units. Compared to the previous financial year, sales of Ertiga have increased by 17% in the last financial year.
Also, without the diesel engine, the Erterra MPV is being sold only with petrol and CNG options. The Ertiga MPV is being sold in India at a price between Rs 8.68 lakh and Rs 13.02 lakh.
Mahindra Scorpio:
The Mahindra Scorpio is a model that surprisingly made it to the top 10 sales list last fiscal year. Because the sales of Scorpio has grown by 84% in the last financial year compared to the previous financial year.
Mahindra has sold a total of 1,41,462 Scorpio cars in the last financial year alone. The Mahindra Scorpio SUV is being sold in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 13.58 lakh to Rs 17.34 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Eco:
Proving that a car is not just a luxury vehicle but also a utility vehicle, the car featured in this list is the Eco. 1,37,139 units of this utility-only model were sold last fiscal. Maruti Suzuki Eco is being sold in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.32 lakh to Rs 6.58 lakh.
