Due to heavy rains in Kerala last night, there has been huge damage due to heavy rainfall in many districts.

As the Southwest Monsoon has intensified in Kerala, the heavy rain that started at 7-pm last night continued till the early hours of the morning. Due to this, rain and flood damage has also occurred in many places. Also due to this rain, landslides, rock stones from the mountain top fell on the road. Trees were also broken due to strong winds. Due to this, the traffic on the road has been affected in many places.

Also the flow of water in rivers, lakes, ponds and dams has also increased. Near many houses the rain floods like wild floods. Residents living in dangerous areas have also been shifted to flood relief camps. Night traffic has been banned due to the possibility of continuous heavy rains in the coming days.

Many tourist attractions are closed due to security concerns. Control rooms have also been opened in each district. Due to heavy rains, water has been released in some dams. In the next 24″ hours, the disaster response team has been prepared for the rescue operations as there is a possibility of heavy rain. Also, the landslide in the Wayanad area has created a lot of excitement, the rescue operations have been intensified in the area.

A nurse from the medical team from Bandalur, who rushed to the disaster area yesterday morning, went to the other side of the river to treat him hanging by a rope.On the second day today, the team is still treating the accident site. Today, volunteers and rescuers are treating the injured during the rescue operation.
