Tributes to the late leader of the Sri Lankan Tamil Republic Party, former opposition leader and member of parliament Rajavarodayam Sambandha were held at the Vattukkottai constituency office of the Sri Lankan Tamil Republic Party under the chairmanship of former member of parliament Iswarapatham Saravanabhavan.
As an expression of grief, the party flag was flown at half-mast in front of the office.
Following this, Annar’s Thiruvuruva image was showered with flowers. Tribute speeches followed.
Former Member of Parliament Eswarabadam Saravanabhavan, former Karainagar Divisional Councilor Balachandran, Valigamam West former Divisional Councilor Nagaranjini, former Divisional Councilors, Vattukkottai Constituency Women’s Team of Sri Lankan Tamil Republic Party and many volunteers were present.
