Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy Anastasia Ponter expressed optimism about Prime Minister Modi’s visit to her country during an exclusive interview with WION News Service in Delhi last week.
Commenting on this, he said, “I am personally confident that the Indian Prime Minister will visit Ukraine soon. “This is the only way to convey to him the real situation in Ukraine,” he added.
The Deputy Minister participated in the World Heritage Committee meeting in India. Three resolutions were passed with the support of Ukraine on the impact of the war on historical sites in the European country.
Minister Bidhi emphasized cultural dialogue with India. “If we find a cultural dialogue between our countries, it will help our countries to go deeper in our cooperation. I will be happy to invite the Culture Minister or the Deputy Minister to our country. They should see the current reality of Ukraine with their own eyes.” The Deputy Culture Minister also commented on yoga, Bollywood and the popular Indian song “Jimmy Jimmy, Aja Aja” during the interview.
