In this case, a non-reserved special train will be operated from Egmore railway station to Trichy today at 9:25 pm for the convenience of passengers going home from Chennai for weekend holidays.
This special MEMU train will depart from Chennai Egmore railway station at 9.25 pm and stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Melmaruvathur, Tindivanam, Villupuram, Vrudhachalam, Ariyalur, Lalgudi, Srirangam. The train consists of 12 coaches and is operated as an unbooked train.
