The conference also focused on improving bilateral trade relations, strengthening supply chains, and strengthening Indo-Pacific security, including important and emerging technology initiatives, according to a statement issued by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum.
The summit was the first US-India high-level dialogue since India’s Lok Sabha elections.
US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan was recently in New Delhi for a discussion on key and emerging technologies. The dialogue is being held as the next high-level summit to be held after that.
The conference held in Washington was attended by important representatives of both countries such as US Republican Senators, senior officials of the White House, US and Indian policy makers, important business leaders, high-ranking political representatives and senior officials.
