Uttar Pradesh 13 Lakh Govt employees August Month Salary May Be Cut Reason : Shock News for Govt Employees

Uttar Pradesh, the largest state in the country, is under Yogi Adityanath-led BJP rule. More than 17,88,000 employees are working in all the government departments in the state. Yogi Adityanath is taking various actions in the government administration.

In this situation, in a press release issued by the UP government, “All government officers and employees must register all the details of immovable and movable assets for the financial year 2023-2024 in the departmental assessment platform before August 31.” Ordered and sent a circular.

It has also been announced that those who do not submit the asset details will be counted absent and will not be paid in August. Further, action has been taken to take necessary action as per the departmental guidelines.

So far only 26 percent of the total 17.88 lakh government employees have registered their property details on the portal. The remaining over 13 lakh employees are yet to disclose their assets.

Earlier Government employees The Uttar Pradesh government has announced December 31, 2023 as the last date for filing their property details. After that, the deadline was continuously extended to June 30 and July 31. As none of the government employees have taken this seriously, such an order has been issued.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh said, “Only those employees who submit the asset details by August 31 are eligible to receive the salary for the month of August. Salaries of all other employees will be stopped,” Kararaga said. Justifying the government’s move, the Uttar Pradesh government proudly stated that it improves transparency and accountability.
