Uttar Pradesh – One Identity scheme: One family.. One identity card.. Welfare schemes can now be availed easily.. CM orders action!

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with top officials. He then reviewed the One Family One Identity Card scheme in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He also directed the authorities to take steps to issue this single family card to all the families in the state.

Also, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered to record important information such as name, address, income and caste of family members in order to know the information about family card holders. Aadhaar card is mandatory to get this family card.

It is also said that this one identity card will be sufficient for all members of a family holding this updated family card. It is also said that family cards are going to be improved so that people can easily get the welfare schemes of the central and state governments.

It seems that through this family card number, they will be facilitated to get 76 types of welfare schemes of the central and state governments. It is also said that through this the information about the population is to be collected. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that these family identity cards are being issued to every family to provide government benefits and employment opportunity to at least one member.

About 15.07 crore people belonging to about 3.60 crore families living in the state of Uttar Pradesh are currently benefiting from the National Food Security Scheme. The ration card number of these families is their family identity. This family identity card aims to benefit all the families in the state i.e. about 25 crore people.
