VAO asked for bribe for belt change:
When the victim complained on the social media about the village administrative officer asking for bribe for change of belt in Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin took immediate action. The victim, who was moved by this, released a video expressing his gratitude to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and government officials, which is now going viral on social media.
The victim has complained on social media that Baranipudur Village Administrative Officer Kiran Raj demanded a bribe of five thousand from the person who went to change the belt in Cuddalore district.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Immediate Action:
On seeing this, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister ordered to take immediate action, Cuddalore District Collector Arun Tamburaj, who contacted the victim Selvakanthan, conducted a detailed investigation into the incident and ordered the concerned department officials to take action in this regard.
Also the case has been transferred from Cuddalore to Kanchipuram as the concerned officer is from Kanchipuram.

Also, from Sriperumbudur Kotakshiar office, the change of belt has been done immediately and has been sent to the affected person’s whatsapp number.
It has also been ordered to remove the village administrative officer who asked for bribe.
Following this, the victim has released a video thanking the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister for his immediate action, which is now going viral on social media.
