Chennai : Delhi Police has been ordered to investigate the complaint of assault by Aam Aadmi Party MP Swati Maliwal.
Delhi Police received a complaint through a phone call this morning. Namely, former Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson and Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal was reportedly assaulted by Kejriwal’s aide Bibhav Kumar when she went to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house.
In this regard, when the Delhi Police went to investigate in person, it is said that Swati Maliwal was not there at that time. Now the matter has been taken up by the National Commission for Women. An order has been issued to the Delhi Police in this regard.
Accordingly, there has been a complaint that Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, who belongs to the Aam Aadmi Party, was assaulted at the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence. Delhi Police should send an appropriate investigation team and promise to take action in this regard. It has ordered that the action taken on this matter be sent as a report to the National Commission for Women within 3 days.
