Wayanad Landslide: The landslide incident in Wayanad region due to continuous heavy rains in Kerala has caused great sadness and shock in the death of more than 300 people. The rescue operation is going on for the 5th day as it is feared that some people may still be trapped in this landslide.
In this case, when the Indian Army was engaged in rescue operations for the 4th day in Padavettikunnuvil area, which was 4 meters away from the Sural hill area of Wayanad, they saw a house buried in the soil. 2 men and 2 women were rescued alive from that house.
After 4 days of the landslide, the 4 people were inside the house afraid of what to do next, the Indian Army rescued them alive and airlifted them to the hospital for treatment.
They were admitted to the hospital for treatment and are now doing well. It has been revealed that one of the 4 rescued persons is Johnny. It is reported that he had his own garden and was maintaining it.
Also, the Indian Army said that a woman who was rescued alive had a serious injury on her leg and the 4 people inside the house when the landslide occurred only survived because they went to a higher place.
Baili places in Suralmalai, which suffered heavy damage following the landslide, are slowly returning to normal. People are walking here and there on the bridge there. It is to be noted that Wayanad is expected to be completely back to normal in a few days.
