Wayanad : As a result of heavy monsoon rains in Wayanad, Kerala, a huge landslide occurred last night. Tragically, more than 150 people have died. Also, more than 200 people are in the center. The search for them is going on very intensively.

52-year-old Kalyan Kumar from the Nilgiris of Tamil Nadu got trapped in this landslide and died. In this case, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has issued a statement offering relief to the bereaved family.

In the statement issued by him, “I was deeply saddened and pained to hear the sad news that Mr. Kalyanakumar (age 52) from Nilgiri district, who was working in Suralmalai, Wayanad district, Kerala state, died in a landslide yesterday morning (30.07.2024).

I express my deepest condolences and condolences to the family and relatives of Mr. Kalyanakumar who died in this incident. Also, I have ordered Rs.3 lakh from the Chief Minister’s General Relief Fund to be given to the family of the deceased Kalyan Kumar,” M.K.Stalin had announced in the statement.
