Citron Basalt SUV Coupe: Features
The new SUV coupe model gets a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, cube-shaped AC vents just below the infotainment system and automatic climate control.
We can confirm these features from the teasers released earlier. Apart from this, the new Basalt also gets front center armrest with storage space and redesigned headrest.
What features does the Basalt offer that the C3 Aircross does not?
Some of the features have been shown in the teaser released by Citron. That shows the difference between the Citroen C3 Aircross Madal and the Basalt.
In the new Basalt model, Citroen has given electric retract facility to the wing mirrors. In C3 Aircross we have to do this manually.
In the Basalt, Citron has given the power button for the rear window in the rear door itself. It can be asked that this is given in all cars. However, in the C3 Aircross, Citroen has placed this power button in the center console just behind the handbrake. Yes, the power button for the rear window is on the center console. Now it has been replaced by the rear door itself.
Rear AC vents are provided in the floor of the car. The 5-seater C3 Aircross model does not have rear AC vents. The 5+2 variant of the C3 Aircross has these AC vents on the roof.
Now the Basalt has rear AC vents on the floor which is a bit of a premium. Also, it offers the convenience of a sunroof. But Citron did not give it. Although the sunroof is not practical, it gives customers the feeling of a luxury car.
