Youth murder case near Sivakasi:
District SP Peroz Khan Abdullah said that after the news of the murder of Karthik Pandi, a young man who had a love marriage near Sivakasi, it was not a murder, the family of the woman who was killed and the woman belonged to the same community, and the murder was due to the anger of another sister who had also recently married for love.
Karthik Pandi, son of Marimuthu, from Srivilliputhur, next to Indira Nagar in Virudhunagar district, is 26 years old. He seems to have been working as a mechanic in Sivakasi. In this situation, Sivakasi, who was working in a shop in the same area, was in love with Ponnaiya’s daughter, Nandini, aged 22, from Vamphuthan Mukku area. Both of them fell in love and got married eight months ago and have been staying in a separate house in Ayyambatti.
Not culpable homicide:
In this situation, Nandini is currently working in a private supermarket near Sivakasi Housing Board. It is said that when Karthik Pandi was coming to pick up Anthini at 9 o’clock in the night, three remarried men who followed him on a bike chased Karthik Pandi and killed him.

After getting information about the incident, the correctional police rushed to recover Karthik Pandi’s body and sent it to Virudhunagar Government Hospital for post-mortem. District Superintendent of Police Perozhan Abdullah and Deputy Superintendent of Police Subbiah also reached the spot and conducted an investigation in which the preliminary investigation revealed that the girl’s brother Balamurugan and his friends killed Karthik Pandi.
While the reports of this murder being a homicide, the District Superintendent of Police has denied this, saying that the murder of the youth Karthik Pandian was not a homicide, and that the woman’s family and the youth’s family belonged to the same community.
