There are various forms of worship in Hinduism. Among them Navagraha worship is considered to be the best. There is a promise of crores of benefits if Guru sees it. Guru Bhagavan has that much energy.
Guru Bhagavan is the one who incarnated as the son of Sage Angarisha, one of the Saptarishis. Because he is learned in all things like education and arts, he is also known as the guru of the gods. That is why he is also called Devaguru. He is also known as Lord Jupiter.
Lord Guru can move from one sign to another. His vehicle is an elephant. His lifespan is 16 years. His favorite color is blonde and yellow. While worshiping Guru Bhagavan it is better to wear yellow and golden clothes and keep chickpeas as garland or neivedi.
Also he has Sagittarius and Pisces as his own house. Thursday is the best day to worship him. When we do certain things which are liked by the Guru we can get his perfect grace. Let’s see what it is.
To help the poor, to respect them, to respect the teachers who teach education, to respect the priests and siddhas who are guides in our lives, to help the uneducated to learn, to help the cow. One should especially respect others, doing such actions will get His grace.
