WhatsApp owned by Meta Company has huge number of users all over the world. WhatsApp has various features. In the recently introduced new feature called companion mode, you can log in your one WhatsApp account on your other devices like laptop, tab etc and use the same account. Let’s see how it goes.
How to set up multi-device support?
To connect on a laptop you need to go to WhatsApp web on your laptop and scan the QR code with your WhatsApp primary phone. Now your shade will be there.
However, the main work comes when you want to use different smartphones to connect to your primary account. To enable companion mode on your second phone, you need to install the app.
After installing and accepting the privacy policy, there are three dots in the top right corner of the screen that will now ask for your phone number. Clicking on these three dots will open a drop-down, giving you the option to pair this phone as a companion device.
After selecting this option the next screen will ask you to scan the QR code. Doing so will connect to the phone.
