To change this situation, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin had announced that a Tidal Park will be set up on 5 acres at an estimated cost of 600 crores in an initial phase of 600 crores to create employment for more than 10 thousand people in an area of 10.5 acres in Maduthavani.

But one and a half years after the announcement, the foundation stone for the Tidal Park construction work has not yet been laid.
This is because the municipal administration department has not given permission to hand over the land selected for the construction of the Tidal Park to the Elkot administration.
Soil Testing:
In this situation, Minister Thangam Tennarasu had said that in the recently published budget of Tamil Nadu, the works of Trichy and Maduraikana Title Park will start soon.
After this, the soil taking and testing work was going on at the Tidal Park site. It was informed that the tender will be released after this.
Foundation Ceremony:
In this situation, the model photos of this IT park to be set up in Madurai were released recently and went viral.
One of these was designed in the twin tower style with 25 storey buildings and the other in a circular shape. One of these two months is expected to be finalized.
