The incident of a woman’s death after being electrocuted while charging her laptop in Sokkanathanputhur near Rajapalayam has come as a shock.
Sakthi Kumar (50) hails from Krishnan Koil Street, Sokkanathanputhur near Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar district. His wife is Sivakami. Their daughter Senthimail (22) is a B.Sc graduate. Senthimail got married to Rajaram from the same area two years ago. Rajaram is working in Saudi Arabia.
In this situation, at 4 o’clock in the evening Senthimail was unexpectedly electrocuted while charging his laptop at home. His relatives rescued him and took him to the government hospital. The doctors who examined him there said that Senthimail had already died. After this the police was informed. Chettur police have registered a case and are investigating.
A few days ago, a woman doctor from Coimbatore died after being electrocuted while trying to charge her laptop in Chennai.
