A training course for the officers who will authenticate the postal voters of Batticaloa district in the upcoming presidential election was held by the Batticaloa District Election Office yesterday afternoon at the Batticaloa District Secretariat under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of the Batticaloa District Election Office SM Subian.
During the postal voting in the district, the responsibilities and duties of the attesting officers, the legal problems during the voting and the regulations related to traffic safety were given detailed explanations to the participants by the District Government President and the District Election Returning Officer Mrs. JJ Muralidhara.
