China’s Xiaomi launched their new SU7 electric sedan last March. Xiaomi, which was initially only a smartphone manufacturer, has also emerged as an automobile company with the launch of this new car. Orders are pouring in for the SU7 electric sedan following its launch. Xiaomi SU7 received almost 90,000 orders till the end of April alone.
After the first car was a monopolistic hit, information about Xiaomi’s next electric car has been released. Currently, the company is said to be planning to develop a new SUV model to compete with Tesla’s Model Y SUV.

After the completion of those works, the company is expected to start production of the new SUV.
