Yamaha has launched the 2024 updated version of the X-Max 250 maxi scooter, which is already on sale in Malaysia. The company has launched the new 2024 X-Max 250 maxi scooter in two new paint schemes. Unlike in India, Yamaha has the longest bike and scooter lineup in Malaysia. The X-Max 250 is the premium maxi scooter in the lineup.
Yamaha X-Max 250: New Colors
Yamaha has now launched the 2024 X-Max 250 maxi scooter in two new colors – Icon Black and Ruby Red. The X-Max 250 in Icon Black gets a black finish throughout and only the wheels in Yamaha’s iconic Blue. This colored bike is also offered in a dual tone combination of gray and black.
The Ruby Red variant features a dual tone maxi scooter with black and red color combination. In this variant, the grab rail, side fairing and underseat section are painted red.
Yamaha X-Max 250: Engine Update
Despite getting some cosmetic updates, the new 2024 X-Max version doesn’t get any updates mechanically. The updated model is powered by the same 249.8cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine that churns out 22.4hp of power and 24.3Nm of torque used in the previous model. Also, this engine is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. It is noteworthy that this maxi scooter uses a belt drive system for power transmission.
Yamaha X-Max 250: Suspension and ABS
The X-Max 250 maxi scooter is equipped with disc brakes on both sides and dual channel ABS. A telescopic fork suspension setup is used at the front and a twin rear shock absorber suspension setup at the rear. As the height of this maxi scooter is only 780mm, all types of riders can easily ride it.
Yamaha X-Max 250: Other Features and Price
The Yamaha X-Max 250 maxi scooter has a sporty look and includes premium amenities. Connectivity options include a 4.2-inch TFT LCD screen, Y-Connect app facility and Garmin StreetCross app for navigation. Yamaha’s X-Max 250 maxi scooter has been released at a price of Rs 4.35 lakh in India.
