49Jaffna – A youth has been attacked and killed with sharp weapons in Nedundiveu Seventh District area.
23-year-old Samakeen Devaraj Arulraj from Nedundivu 07 locality was murdered.
It is reported that due to the early morning encounter between the two, a drunken argument took place last night (19) and thereafter the murder took place.
The body has been handed over to Neduntivu Hospital for post-mortem.
The police said that two suspects suspected to be involved in the murder have absconded and steps have been taken to arrest them.
Nedundiveu police are conducting further investigations into the murder incident.
