The people are happy that the internal main roads of Nelliagama village under Balakala Divisional Secretariat area have been converted into carpeted roads and the complete reconstruction work was completed last week as a result of the request made to the Member of Parliament Ishaq Rahman.
For many years, these roads, which were so dilapidated that people could not travel satisfactorily, have been reconstructed.
The people have thanked the President and the Member of Parliament for the fact that these roads have been converted into carpeted roads within a short period of one month as a result of the request of the villagers to the Member of Parliament to reconstruct the said roads which had been neglected for many years and were causing various difficulties to the commuters
