M. G. Stalin: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has given incentive money to Tamil Nadu player Mariyappan Thangavelu in Para Olympic Championship held in China.

The 11th World Para Athletics Championships for the Disabled was held in Kobe, Japan. More than a thousand players from 100 countries participated and played.

Mariyappan Thangavelu, an athlete from Tamil Nadu, participated in this series and set a record by winning gold. He met with a bus accident when he was 5 years old. As a result, his entire right leg was affected.

Following this, Mariyappan, who performed well in the Para Grand Prix athletics in Tunisia, qualified for the Rio Paralympics and won gold.
