In order to attract tourists in Trichy district, it was planned to construct a bird park with an area of 1.63 hectares in Ayyalamman Padithura area in Kambarasambatta Panchayat of Trichy district under the Name Name project at a cost of 13.70 crore rupees.

All the works for this were started in November 2023 and all the works are going on briskly. Municipal Administration Minister KN Nehru laid the foundation stone for this work at that time.
Mini theatre
Waterfalls and ponds are artificially created in this park. Rare species of birds are also bred in this park. Also places like Kurinji, Marutham, Mullai, Neithal, Palai are artificially constructed. A mini theater will also be set up in this park as mountains, forests, coastal plains and deserts will be realistically set up.
Official inspection
It is said that all scientific films will be screened in this theater with a seating capacity of 50 people. Various special features are continuously being set up in this bird park to attract the tourists. Following this, Trichy District Collector Pradeep Kumar and Rural Development Department Director Ponnaiah personally inspected the work being done there today.
Tourist attractions are less
The District Collector has already inspected this park in person for the last 3 times. Pradeep Kumar, Trichy district administration chief who met the media after this survey said:-
Trichy district has very few tourist sites. Now this bird park is being established as an offering to tourists.

At present, 80 percent of the construction of the bird park has been completed. There are so many entertainment features that the tourists coming inside can spend around 3 hours here.
600 cars
We expect 500 to 600 cars per day. Apart from this, car parking facility is also provided outside. The park will be well implemented without car parking and traffic congestion. Bird park will be opened soon along with Panjapur Bus Stand. Similarly, a project report has been prepared asking for additional funds for the development of Mukumbu and Butterfly Park.
