BMW has launched the Shadow Edition of the X3 in India. The company has launched this unique Shadow Edition only on the ‘xDrive20d M Sport’ variant of the X3. The BMW X3 Shadow Edition model has been launched with various premium features and enhancements at an ex-showroom price of Rs 74.90 lakh.
BMW X3 Shadow Edition: Exterior design changes
The new BMW X3 Shadow Edition model has received some noticeable exterior changes. Mainly its front grille, tailpipes, window graphics, roof rails and kidney frame are finished in high-class black. Also, BMW has used 19-inch Y-style 887 M alloy wheels on this Shadow Edition.

The interior has not undergone any major design changes, only leather Vernasca upholstery has been given. But, many facilities are provided. Features include multi-functional steering wheel, seat adjustment with memory function, panoramic glass roof, six-way dimmable ambient lighting and 3-zone automatic climate control.

The cabin highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with BMW Operating System 7.0, 3D navigation, BMW Gesher Control and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. Along with this, a 464W Harmonic Garden surround sound system with 16 speakers is provided for a better sound experience.
BMW X3 Shadow Edition: Safety features
This Shadow Edition model also comes with various features for safety. Six Airbags, ABS with Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Electronically Controlled Automatic Differential Brake/Lock (ADB-X), Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control Facilities are provided for safety.
BMW X3 Shadow Edition: Engine
The BMW X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition is powered by a four-cylinder, 2.0-litre diesel engine. The engine churns out 190hp of power and 400Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic Steptronic Sport gearbox. Capable of reaching a top speed of 213 kmph, this engine accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 7.9 seconds.
