Chennai Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of heavy rain in 15 districts of Tamil Nadu today.
In this regard, in a statement issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department, an atmospheric upper circulation is prevailing over the southern parts of India. Due to this, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at few places in Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal today. Nilgiri, Coimbatore district hilly areas, Tirupur, Erode, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Tirupattur, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Tiruchirappalli, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Karur, Dindigul, Theni districts and Puducherry will receive heavy rain.
08.06.2024: Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a couple of places in Tamil Nadu, Puduvai and Karaikal. From 09.06.2024 to 13.06.2024: Light to moderate rain is expected at a couple of places in Tamil Nadu, Puduvai and Karaikal.
