Departs Thanjavur at 11 AM and reaches Chennai Egmore at 6.15 PM on the reverse route. It travels through major railway stations in Northern and Delta districts. The train is usually 100 percent full. Over 150 percent of tickets are purchased in advance. Therefore, an additional daytime service should be introduced on the main line.
