Rasam recipe-In this article, we will learn how to make Chettinad Special Onion Rasam.
Necessary materials;
- Onions =10
- Cumin = one tsp
- Pepper= one tsp
- Green chillies= one
- Chili = two
- Tomato = three
- Tamarind = size of lemon
- Lentil water = two cups
- Oil = two spoons
- Mustard dal = one spoon
- Flood = quarter spoon
- Apricot = quarter spoon
- Turmeric powder = 1/2 spoon
- Neem coriander leaves as required.

First, grind the cumin seeds and chilies coarsely. Now keep it aside and keep aside one green chilli and a little bit of coriander leaves. Chop the onion into two pieces and keep it separately.
Now mash the tomatoes with your hands and add the tamarind paste to it. Now add some turmeric powder, salt and coriander leaves and boil it. After boiling well, turn off the stove. Now add two cups of dal water. In another vessel, pour oil and season with mustard, cardamom and bay leaves. Add onions and saute.
Then add turmeric powder and asparagus and mix. Add this thalapi to the mixed leaven and add a little coriander leaves and caraway leaves and put it in the oven till it foams and add jaggery. Now Kama Kama Vena Chettinadu Special Onion Rasam is ready.
