College Dream Scheme Super chance for students going for higher education: Tamil Nadu government initiative!

The college dream program makes it easy for students who are going for higher education after 12th standard to know what and where they can study.

The Tamil Nadu government has released the details of when this program will be held district wise.

In a press release issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, “The ‘College Dream’ event to guide higher education for students of twelfth standard was inaugurated on 25.06.2022 by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M.K.Stalin under Nan Muluvan scheme.

In the last academic year 2022-2023, out of 3,30,628 students who studied in government schools and passed class 12, 2,43,710 students enrolled in medical, engineering, arts and science, law, polytechnic and other higher education courses through higher education guidelines.

As a follow-up event, the ‘College Dream 2024’ event was inaugurated on 29.02.2024 at Coimbatore by the Hon’ble Minister of Sports and Special Projects Implementation Udayanidhi Stalin.

District wise program ‘College Dream 2024’ will be held in all the districts of Tamil Nadu under the Naan Muluvan scheme as per the schedule below.

Today (June 8) will be held in Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Nagapattinam, Madurai, Tirunelveli and Salem districts.

It has been informed that tomorrow (June 9) will be held in Tiruvallur, Nilgiris, Perambalur, Mayiladuthurai, Dindigul and Dharmapuri districts.

College Dream 2024 program will be held on June 10 in Chengalpattu, Tirupur, Ariyalur, Cuddalore, Theni, Kanyakumari, Krishnagiri districts.

The college dream program will be held on June 11 in Kanchipuram, Erode, Thanjavur, Villupuram, Virudhunagar, Thoothukudi and Tirupattur districts and on June 13 in Iranipet, Thenkasi, Namakkal, Karur, Thiruvarur, Pudukottai, Kallakurichi, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Thiruvannamalai and Vellore districts.

College Dream 2024 event for Chennai district is going to be held today at Anna Centenary Library, Chennai. Students of 12th standard in government and government-aided private higher secondary schools in Chennai are going to participate in this event.

The objective of this program is to help students who have completed their 12th standard to realize their future dreams, how to choose course-wise courses, diplomas and colleges that have opportunities for their higher education, as well as job opportunities available after graduation, guidance will be provided by renowned experts and academicians.

Such programs enable students to plan their future goals and achieve success. Department of Higher Education, Directorate of Technical Education, Anna University, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Halls have been set up by Medical University, Tamil Nadu University of Veterinary Science. “High government officials are going to participate in this event,” it has been reported.
