Former Minister Senthil Balaji, who was arrested by the Enforcement Department in an illegal money transfer case, has been lodged in Puzhal Jail for over a year. Senthil Balaji’s bail pleas continue to be dismissed by the Madras Principal Amar Court. Former minister Senthil Balaji, who had already undergone heart surgery, is undergoing periodic medical tests.
In this case, former minister Senthil Balaji said that after having lunch last Sunday, he felt chest pain. Following this, the prison doctors who administered first aid sent him to the Stanley Government General Hospital for further treatment, after which the prison authorities admitted him to the Stanley Government Hospital in Chennai under heavy police protection. After being treated there, Senthil Balaji was taken to Omanturar Government Hospital.
In this situation, the doctors have said that Senthil Balaji’s condition has improved. The difficulty in breathing has also improved now. He was subsequently discharged from the hospital following his recovery. Following this, he was taken back to Puzhal Jail under heavy police protection.
