Gold to touch Rs.8 thousand by Diwali; Anand Srinivasan prediction

Economist Anand Srinivasan has said that the price of gold will see a huge increase in the next 18 months.

In an interview given to the channel, he said, “This is the right time to buy gold. The price of gold is likely to rise significantly in the next 18 months. A gram of gold can reach up to Rs.8 thousand,” he said.

Anand Srinivasan also supported the plan to sell gold at a uniform price in all the states of the country.

On July 20, gold prices in India touched Rs 74,000 per 10 grams. This rate represents a premium for pure gold. 24 carat gold fell to Rs 73,970 per 10 grams on Saturday. 22 carat gold was Rs 68,800 per 10 grams.
