Uttar Pradesh: On the way back to the Hadhras spiritual discourse event, the death of 121 people in a stampede has sent shockwaves across the country. Among them, mostly women, 31 people were injured and are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
In this case, while the police were investigating the incident by registering a case, the UP police arrested 6 people including 2 women from the organizing committee in the matter of 121 people who died in the stampede. The organizer of the event is said to be one of the 6 people arrested.
Also, the police are looking for 6 people who are absconding. Those who find the event organizer Devprakash Madhukar will get Rs. 1 lakh reward has been announced. Meanwhile, a PIL has been filed in the Allahabad High Court asking the CBI to investigate the accident.
Meanwhile, the District Magistrate said that the bodies of all the victims have been identified and handed over to their families. Accordingly, 21 bodies were reportedly taken to Agra, 28 to Etah, 34 to Hadhras and 38 to Aligarh.
