On behalf of Aavadi Municipal Corporation, Aavadi Police Commissionerate, Private Educational Institute and Volunteers Association, a program called ‘Happy Street’ was held at Aavadi Tamil Nadu Housing Facility Residential Road.
Drug addiction is on the rise among the youth across the country. Thus the lives of the youth are ruined and the society is degraded. In this situation, police are conducting “Happy Steerit” program to make youth aware about drugs and guide them well.

Various games including ‘Table Tennis’, Chess, Carrom, Chilampattam were included in this. More than 2000 people participated in this ‘Happy Street’ program, the youth participated and danced to the music of ‘DJ’ and celebrated happily for 2 hours.
Nazareth Education Institute participated in this program and provided all kinds of assistance. Also the owner of the educational institution Henry participated and arranged for students and parents to attend.
People were happy to see Aavadi Assembly Member S.M. Nasar participating and driving the bullock cart.
Mayor Udayakumar, Avadi Police Commissioner Shankar, Corporation Commissioner Sheikh Abdul Rahman and Engineer Ravichandran were also present, which gave people enthusiasm.
