Chennai : Chennai Meteorological Department has informed that moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today and tomorrow due to atmospheric circulation.
Today (05.06.2024) 15 districts of Tamil Nadu namely Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul, Nilgiris, Tirupattur, Vellore, Iranippet, Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Kallakurichi, Mayiladuthurai are experiencing heavy rain.
Tomorrow (06.06.2024) 13 districts of Tamil Nadu namely Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul, Nilgiris, Erode, Krishnagiri, Tirupattur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur and Tiruchirappalli are reported to receive heavy rain.
For Chennai, there is a chance of moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places during the next 24 hours.
