A.DMK Edappadi Palaniswami’s side as to how he can file a petition as General Secretary of ADMK in the case against being selected as General Secretary. Chennai He has sought pardon after the High Court questioned him.
A petition was filed in the Madras High Court on behalf of O. Panneer Selvam and Manoj Pandian, Vaithialingam, J.C.T. Prabhakar against the announcement of Edappadi Palaniswami as the general secretary of ADMK and against the resolutions of the general body.
Judge CV Karthikeyan, who heard these petitions, said that advocates Rajalakshmi and Yumabharathi appeared on behalf of the petitioners and filed a petition as co-coordinators in the Madras High Court, and now a reply petition has been filed claiming to be General Secretary EPS.
In this case, the judge expressed his displeasure with this and asked Edappadi Palanichami’s side as to how he can file a petition mentioning him as ADMK General Secretary in the current situation in the case related to ADMK General Secretary.
An appeal was made on behalf of EPS. He further adjourned the hearing to August 7.
