4 wild elephants came out of the forest area last night around 10 o’clock in Palaniappa lay-out area of Tadagam Road, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Coimbatore.
Seeing this, the people of the area informed the forest department and then the forest department chased the elephants into the forest.
Shortly after chasing away the elephants, a wild boar suddenly came there and the stray dogs chased the wild boar away. In no time the wild boar went into the forest.

A week ago, the CCTV footage of a leopard catching a chicken was released in the area. The people of the area have demanded that wild animals often come out of the forest at night and the forest department should intensify the surveillance work in the area.
