JoSAA Counseling 2024: Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) Counseling Dates Announced There will be five rounds with one additional round for NIT+ systems only. Provisional seat allotment will be released on 10th June while advance payment of JoSAA seat acceptance fee will start on 9th June.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Chennai will release the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 on June 9. Selected candidates are Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information and Technology (IITs) and others. For admission in Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), JoSAA 2024 counseling process is required.
JoSAA Counseling 2024: Eligibility
Eligible candidates have to register and fill the examination for institute and course, they will be allotted seat according to their rank. Earlier, JoSAA counseling was jointly conducted by NIT Rourkela, however this year there is no information about it. However students can register through the official website josaa.nic.in.
JoSAA Counseling 2024: How to Apply?
Step 1: Visit the official website – josaa.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the registration link provided on the website
Step 3: Enter your credentials like JEE Main Application Number and Date of Birth
Step 4: Complete the desired college and course preference process
Step 5: Review and submit the filled preference selections.
Counseling system will release two model seat allotment before the candidates choose their options and check the data, verification and allotted seats.
Candidates have the option to opt out or opt out of the seat allotment process. Last year, six rounds of counseling were conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Commission.
