Labor Provident Fund Case: Anna University. Appeal to iCourt

An appeal was filed in the Madras High Court on behalf of Anna University against this order. This case judges J. Satyanarayana Prasad and V. Lakshmi Narayanan came up for hearing on Thursday. According to the order of the single judge, the university did not have sufficient funds to pay Rs. 73 lakh 23 thousand which is 30 percent of the balance of provident fund. At present Rs. Subsequently, the judges adjourned the hearing of the case to June 5 and ordered the Anna University side to provide a copy of the petition to the Commissioner of the Labor Provident Fund.
