A Mercedes luxury car got stuck in beach sand in Goa which has created a sensation. Many people try the same after seeing scenes of driving on the beach in movies. Currently, a Mercedes E-Class luxury sedan is stuck in the sand a few meters before the sea on a beach in Goa. A video related to this is currently going viral on social media.
This luxury car, which was on the road, suddenly entered Polegno Beach in Goa. It overturned passers-by and got stuck in the sand near the sea. People who were there saw this and went to help. However, an eyewitness has explained that the owner of the car had said that no one should touch the car.
After the occupants of the car were under the influence of alcohol, the bystanders informed the police. The police arrived and inquired about the car and its owners. No major incidents occurred due to these incidents. But, this luxury car is traveling without control and the place itself has become a busy scene.
The Mercedes luxury car has an Andhra registration number. Therefore, it is said that the tourists may have been involved in this incident while under the influence of alcohol at the place of sightseeing. Following this incident, steps have been taken to recover the car from the sand.
What the law says about drunk driving in India:
A fine of Rs 10,000 or a jail term of up to six months is imposed on a first-time drink-driving conviction. If caught committing the same mistake a second time, he will face a fine of up to Rs.15,000 and imprisonment for up to two years. Repeated violations will result in the impoundment of the vehicle, cancellation of the driver’s license and imprisonment.
