Viral Video | Coimbatore | Elephant: More than 20 wild elephants are roaming in the Western Ghats under Thondamuthur and Marudamalai Forest Divisions of Coimbatore. At night, wild elephants crawling in the villages adjacent to the forest area in search of food and water, enter the agricultural gardens and residences and eat the rice and rice kept there.
In this situation, two wild elephants entered Panneerselvam’s garden in Vandikaranoor area next to Thondamuthur and ate the crops in the fields and camped in the residence of the gardeners there. Then a wild elephant broke the door of a house and searched for something to eat inside and took the vegetables and ate it.
Seeing the elephant, the gardeners at home froze in fear. Then one of the plantation workers took a video on his cell phone and tried to send the elephant back saying, “There is nothing in the house, that’s it. Go Sammy.” This cell phone video footage is currently going viral on social media pages.
