In this situation, the smoke suddenly came out of his paint shop and caught fire. On seeing this, the people of the area informed the Chungwarchatram police and the Sriperumbudur fire brigade.

Then they broke the shutter of the shop with JCP vehicle and removed the paint materials from the shop. They continued to pump water and brought the fire under control without spreading to the nearby residence and private ATM center.

In the accident, goods worth several thousand were burnt and damaged in the shop. In the first phase of the investigation conducted by the police, an electric shock started in the transformer near the shop.
