Speaking at Vijay Diwas Shradhanjali Samaro in Kargil, Modi said, “This day tells us that the sacrifices made for the nation are immortal. “We not only won the Kargil war but also set a wonderful example of truth, restraint and strength… Lies and terror were defeated in the face of truth,” he said.

“Pakistan has failed in the past for all its immoral and shameful attempts. However, it has not learned from its history. It tries to maintain its relevance through terrorism and proxy wars. But today I am speaking from a place of clearly listening to the masters of terror! These terrorist supporters will never succeed in their evil plans. I want to say that,” PM Modi said on the occasion of the 25th Vijay Diwas.

“The Agnibad project is an example of the necessary reforms done by the army… Some people think that army means saluting politicians and conducting parades but for us army is the hope of 140 crore people of the country. The aim of Agnibad is to make the army young and to keep the army fit for battle. Unfortunately, some have made such a sensitive issue of national security a subject of politics. These are the same people who did thousands of crores of corruption and weakened our army,” said Prime Minister Modi indirectly attacking the opposition parties.
