We know that Royal Enfield is constantly testing various bikes. It has been reported that the company is going to release a new bike named Gorilla 450 next month.
The Himalayan 450 is the only bike in the 450cc segment of the Royal Enfield lineup. Royal Enfield is currently gearing up to launch the Gorilla 450 as the second bike in its 450cc lineup.
After rigorous testing on Indian roads, the model is now ready for production. The same 452cc liquid-cooled engine used in the Himalayan 450 will also be used in the new Gorilla 450.
This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 40hp and 40Nm of torque. Also, this engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.
The new Gorilla 450 is expected to feature LED headlamps, a larger petrol tank, the same tail light as the Himalayan 450, a TFT instrument display with Bluetooth connectivity, switchable rear ABS, riding modes and ride-by-wire throttle.
Also, the Gorilla 450 is expected to get 17-inch wheels, tubeless tyres, disc brakes on both wheels, dual-channel ABS and rear monoshock suspension system.
We can expect this bike in India at an approximate price of Rs 2.50 lakh. The new Gorilla 450 will compete with the likes of the Triumph Speed ​​400, KTM Duke 390 and Husqvarna Svartbilan 401 which are already on sale.
The new Gorilla 450 will be a roadster bike with touring capabilities. Not only this but more Royal Enfield is planning to launch 4 new bikes. After the launch of this Gorilla 450 we can also expect the launch of the Classic Bobber 350 and Scrambler 650 bikes from Royal Enfield.
