Rs. 1,700 till Rs. 5,000 allowance

Currently Rs. Senthil Thondaman has submitted all the documents to the President such as district wise list of workers, number of permanent workers, number of temporary workers to provide 5000+ rupees as an interim payment till the 1,700 salary is available to the plantation workers.

Accordingly, the President has instructed the concerned authorities to investigate the request of Senthil Thondaman quickly.

Also Rs. Senthil Thondaman briefed the President on the current legal issues in getting the 1,700 salary and also discussed the alternatives.
