Release of 2024-25 Calendar

Saturday is a working day

The first thing to note in the calendar is the working days. A holiday is usually given on Saturday. But this time various Saturdays have been declared as working days. This has increased the total number of working days in a year to 220. After that, as usual, the training schedule for the teachers has been published. Spoken English lesson

For students from class 1 to 3, there are lessons in Tamil, English, Mathematics, Situational or Social Science Activities, Speaking and Writing. Along with this, a new English speaking course called Spoken English has been added. It has two days in the week namely Monday and Friday.

New educational activities

For 4th and 5th grade, Spoken English is added with juvenile magazine reading or library, educational TV, or arts and crafts. From 6th to 8th standard Tamil, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science along with library, language laboratory, educational activities and forum activities are included. For classes 9 and 10, only two days a week, Tuesday and Wednesday, are included in the last two sessions of non-academic activities.

Competitive Coaching

7th session on Monday and 2nd session on Thursday for classes 11 and 12 have been newly added academic activities. Apart from this, special training will be given on two Saturdays in a month as a guide for higher education. It includes competitive training activities.
