Former minister Senthil Balaji, who was arrested by the enforcement officials in the Illegal Money Transfer Prohibition Act case on June 14, 2023, has been lodged in Puzhal Jail, Chennai. His multiple bail pleas were rejected by the courts. Court custody of former minister Senthil Balaji has been extended for the 36th time. The court remand has been extended till June 4.
In this situation, the bail plea of Senthil Balaji, who was arrested in the illegal money transaction case, came up for hearing in the Supreme Court today. Senthil Balaji’s side requested that he be granted bail citing his health condition. Meanwhile, former minister Senthil Balaji’s bail case has been adjourned to July 10. The Solicitor General of the Central Government was not present today in this case. Because of this, Senthil Balaji’s bail application has been adjourned to July 10.
