Minister of School Education Anbil Mahesh and Minister of Rural Industries Thamo Anparasan participated in the function of handing out textbooks to students on behalf of the Department of School Education at AJS Nidhi Higher Secondary School (Government Aided School) in Chennai.

Ministers also launched a special camp to start Aadhaar enrollment and post office bank account number in the school premises so that the educational assistance for the students can easily reach them.

Speaking further, Minister of School Education Anbil Mahesh Poiyamozhi said that teachers and parents should pay attention to the mental and physical health of students and create many achievers.

This time, good projects suitable for our rich students and community will be included in the grant request. 1 lakh 57 thousand crore rupees have been allocated for school education in Tamil Nadu, which is unprecedented in any other country in India. He said that you have to understand many achievements, you have to give full attention to studies, it is not just about studying in the classroom, it is also about teaching in the playground.

He said that even yesterday government school students had gone to London through Nan Muluvan scheme. Last year there was a delay of two to three months in the delivery of course note books. But the Minister said that the students have been given free welfare schemes including course notes books when the schools open this year. Students should perform well not only in academics but also in sports. He said that the teachers should listen to the advice of the second parents and the students should behave.

Tamil Nadu School Education Secretary Kumaraguruparan, Director of School Education Vigiloli and Director of Elementary Education Kannappan were also present on the occasion.
