Vasant Utsavam was held at the Kanchi Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, also known as the world famous Athivaradhar Temple in the temple town of Kanchipuram.
Varadaraja Perumal Temple
Varadaraja Perumal temple in Kanchipuram is celebrating the spring festival to mark the summer season. Accordingly, the 7th day of Vasantha Utsavam was held today. A horse-drawn carriage ride and a Tirthavari Utsavam were held at Ananta Saras Thirukkulam.

On the occasion of Tirthavari Utsavam, Thirumanjanam was performed with Turmeric, Sandalwood, Tulsi, etc. Later Panchavarna flower garlands were placed and Deepa Aradhanas were performed.
Golden horse vehicle
Varadaraja Perumal was taken in a procession from Vasantha Mandapam on a golden horse. Varadaraja Perumal Street strolled along Sannathi Veedi, four-storied Veedi to play instruments. Devotees took aarti and had darshan all along the way.

After special pujas were performed, the Theerthavaari Utsavam was held at Anantasaras Pond. Many devotees participated in it.
